Preserving the Heritage of the South American Rose
The BOTEH collection is crafted from the world’s most prestigious fiber: 100% Long-Staple Egyptian Cotton. Because each piece is Made-to-Order and features high-density artisan embroidery, it requires intentional care to maintain its structural "Sync."
1. Finding Your Perfect Silhouette (Sizing)
The BOTEH woman moves with freedom. Our silhouettes are designed with a "Nomadic Relaxed Fit"—meant to drape elegantly over the body rather than restrict it.
SizeUS/InternationalThe BOTEH Fit NoteXS/S2 - 4A refined, narrower drape for a delicate frame.M6 - 8The classic Bohemian balance; fluid and effortless.L10 - 12Enhanced volume in the sleeves for a "Matriarch" presence.XL14 - 16Maximum flow and ethnic structural integrity.
Artisan Tip: If you prefer a more "Structured" Ethnic look, we recommend staying true to your size. For a more "Ethereal" Bohemian drape, consider sizing up.
2. The Ritual of Care (Laundering)
Egyptian Cotton is a living fiber. It becomes softer and more lustrous with every wash, provided it is treated with respect.
- The Gentle Cycle: To protect the intricate tonal embroidery, always wash your BOTEH piece inside out. Use a laundry bag if possible.
- Cool Water Only: High heat is the enemy of fine cotton. Use cold or lukewarm water to preserve the deep botanical pigments of your "Rose."
- Neutral Detergents: Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach. Opt for a pH-neutral, organic detergent to maintain the fiber's natural strength.
- The No-Tumble Rule: Never tumble dry. Heat will shrink the cotton and pull at the embroidery threads. Air-dry flat in the shade to prevent the sun from "fading the bloom."
3. Restoring the Bloom (Ironing & Steaming)
Because we use 100% natural cotton without synthetic coatings, the fabric will show its natural character (wrinkles).
- Steaming: This is the preferred method for the BOTEH collection. A gentle steam will relax the fibers and allow the embroidery to "pop" in 3D.
- Ironing: If you prefer a crisp, "Optical" finish, iron while the fabric is still slightly damp. Use the Cotton Setting and always iron on the reverse side to protect the raised embroidery.
4. Made-to-Order Longevity
Every BOTEH shirt is a 1-of-1 commission. Unlike mass-produced garments, our seams are reinforced by hand.
- Storage: Store your shirts on wide, padded hangers to maintain the shoulder structure.
- The Scent of the Andes: For a truly elite experience, store your BOTEH pieces with dried lavender or cedar to protect the natural fibers.
